About the Yamaha Tenere 700 World Raid
The Yamaha Tenere 700 World Raid is designed for riders planning long-distance motorcycle travel across Morocco. Available from Marrakech, it keeps the proven character of the Tenere 700 while adding a larger fuel tank and a touring-focused setup for multi-day routes through remote regions.
Its 689 cc engine produces 73 hp and delivers progressive power for mountain passes, open roads and authorised tracks. The 23-litre fuel tank provides greater range between fuel stops, while the listed weight of 220 kg gives the motorcycle a stable feel during longer road sections. The World Raid is best suited to experienced riders who are comfortable managing a taller, heavier adventure motorcycle.
From Marrakech, this motorcycle is particularly suitable for extended routes through the High Atlas, Ouarzazate, the Draa Valley and the approaches to Merzouga. It also works well for longer road journeys towards the Dades Valley, southern Morocco and the Atlantic coast. Routes should always be adapted to weather, surface conditions and rider experience. Riding in dunes is prohibited.
The rental price starts from €130 per day. A helmet, phone holder, USB charger, third-party liability insurance and 24/7 assistance are included. The standard allowance is 350 km per rental day, with additional kilometres charged at 2 MAD per kilometre. Pickup is available in Marrakech, while delivery or one-way arrangements can be discussed according to destination and availability.
